JOB: Informatics Analyst
This informatics job will report to the Director of Medical Informatics
and is part of the Medical Informatics Department reporting to
Medical Management. This informatics job will deliver reports
and analysis to Medical Management, Account Management, Sales
and Marketing, clients, providers and other audiences as necessary
in the form of written and verbal presentation of information
and findings. This informatics job support corporate-wide strategic
decision-making, medical cost trends and financial impacts as
well as revenue and product growth. This informatics job will
lead and direct team activities centered around specific goal
oriented tasks; such as process improvement, workflow and data
analysis. The ideal candidate for This informatics job will come
from a managed care, insurance, or hospital background, and will
be a proactive thinker and fast learner who enjoys working in
a fast-paced and challenging environment
INFORMATICS
JOB: Pharmacy Informatics Specialist
This informatics job is responsible for providing pharmacy informatics
support for the implementation, management, and maintenance
of new and existing pharmacy related software products. This
informatics jobt will also serve as liaison between pharmacy,
IS staff, vendors, and other departments to ensure that user
needs are met and system-wide information technology standards
are adhered to. This informatics job will be expected to maintain
competency in the practice of all areas of pharmacy and may
be called upon to assist with departmental staffing. This informatics
job incumbent must integrate and coordinate with the facility
pharmacy mangers, pharmacy staff, and IS staff and vendors to
serve as a source of clinical and technical expertise for maintenance
and implementation of pharmacy and clinical information systems.
This informatics job is responsible for developing data entry
interfaces for complex medication protocol orders and working
closely with staff pharmacists to ensure protocol orders enable
accurate and consistent data entry of multi-ingredient drug
orders. This informatics job is responsible for developing and
maintaining data entry interfaces in accordance with standardized
hospital physician order sets. Performing other programming
and maintenance tasks as required. This informatics job will
be assisting pharmacy managers with coordination of activities
related to new pharmacy or clinical system implementation.
