JOBS: Nursing Informatics Coordinator
This informatics job is responsible for the design of clinical
information solutions including nursing applications to enable
the delivery of safe, effective, and high quality patient care.
This informatics job leads information technology deployment and
optimization efforts based on the organization's clinical performance
improvement objectives. This informatics job provides clinical
subject matter expertise to translate data into information and
actionable knowledge in the daily nursing and clinical practice.
This informatics job serves as a liaison between Patient Care
and Clinical Technologies to assist in the design, development,
maintenance, training and evaluation for assigned clinical and
business systems to support the care of patients. Qualifications
for this informatics job: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and
progressively responsible experience that will result in the required
specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.
This informatics job requires recent experience in clinical practice
with a minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated leadership experience
and prior experience leading complex, interdisciplinary projects.
Prefer a minimum of five years experience in nursing management.
This informatics job requires experience in nursing informatics
with certification preferred. Requires the ability to utilize
the knowledge and skills of clinical practice to determine clinical
functions that are suitable for computer application and to ensure
the information systems are consistent with professional standards
of clinical practice. Must have strong analytical / problem solving
skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must
be able to demonstrate expertise in bridging the institution's
clinical functions with the available information technology solutions
and maintain a positive and open attitude to change.
INFORMATICS
JOB: Health Informatics- Data Reporting Analyst
The Health Informatics / Data Reporting Analyst is responsible
for all assigned Claims Analysis Runs (CA), Ad-Hocs and Special
Projects assigned. The Claims Analyst is responsible for managing
his/her assignments and prioritizing based on company need and
requested completion date. 3+ years of experience working with
large volumes of medical claims data. *Knowledge of HCFA &
UB92/UB04 data elements. Knowledge of healthcare claims processing
platforms.
